Children
Bring them once their first teeth are through. A first visit is ten minutes on your lap, mostly looking.
Which teeth come when?
Move the slider to your child’s age.

Every child is different; some teeth come months earlier or later.
- 0 months No teeth yet, usually. Most babies start teething at around 6 months; a few start earlier, and some later.
- 6 months The two front teeth, often the bottom ones first.
- 8 months The teeth beside the front ones.
- 12 months The first back teeth, the molars.
- 18 months The pointed teeth, the canines.
- 2 years The second molars. Most children have all their milk teeth between 2 and 3.
- 6 years The first permanent back teeth usually start to come through around 6 or 7. That is when sealants can be painted on.
